Job Summary
Provide professional interpretation and translation services to refugee clients, maintaining strict confidentiality and advocating on their behalf. Transport clients to interviews and appointments when necessary, documenting all contacts in case files and logs. Stay informed on refugee issues and available services to better serve clients, representing the program at relevant meetings while performing duties in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner. Attend trainings and conferences as requested. Work varied hours including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
