Job Summary

Interpreter Specialist (Scheduling) roles coordinating interpreter coverage for healthcare clients, verifying credentialing eligibility, managing appointments, and delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll build relationships with interpreters and clients, ensure scheduling continuity, maintain accurate records, support compliance and quality initiatives, and contribute to equitable language access in healthcare. Key duties include assigning interpreters based on availability, credentials, language proficiency, location, and client requirements; proactively filling scheduling gaps; handling inquiries with professionalism and empathy; documenting incidents and resolutions; and collaborating across teams to optimize coverage and service quality. Strong communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to health equity are essential.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience in customer service, scheduling, administrative support, or operations preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, language services, or workforce scheduling environments is a plus
