Interpreter I

Interpreter I provides professional interpretation services to assist in communication between individuals with limited English proficiency and service providers in judicial, health, or social services settings. Responsibilities include rendering messages faithfully through consecutive and simultaneous interpretation, maintaining confidentiality, traveling as needed, and adhering to interpreter ethics in medical and legal settings. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and completion of Language Bank Basic Training, fluency in English and the target language, willingness to travel, and a flexible schedule. Part-time role based in Worcester, MA.
