Job Summary
Work as an English Learner Educational Assistant under the direction of a licensed teacher, engaging in all learning activities as directed. Provide support to students whose native language is not English, ensuring they participate fully in the curriculum. Maintain bilingual communication skills and possess Highly Qualified (HQ) status, achieved through passing the Praxis Parapro Test, holding an A.S. degree, or completing 48 semester hours of college work. A high school diploma is the minimum requirement, with some college experience desired. This role supports Claxton Elementary's mission to serve diverse learners within the Anderson County Schools district.
