Job Summary
Conduct desk-based searches on patents, projects, and license offers to source inventions from universities and research institutes. Support the selection of promising inventions by gathering technical, impact, and market input through research and conducting interviews with experts, investors, and industry players. Provide hands-on support in recruiting and onboarding teams for new ventures while coordinating the process from sourcing to onboarding and maintaining invention progress data. Collaborate with venture partners and developers to shape BigCircle Ventures during its founding phase, working on climate and circularity challenges.
Required Qualifications
- You want to make a positive impact and believe in the power of technology
- You are on your way to a scientific technology degree in a relevant field, such as novel materials, complex engineering, advanced (bio)chemistry and (sustainable) energy sciences
- You are fluent in English (spoken and written)
- You live in or within commuting distance from Amsterdam, so you can collaborate with the team in our office
- You must have the right to work in the Netherlands
