Internship- Supply Chain AI, Data & Process Improvement

Job Summary
Identify AI use cases, develop ChatGPT standards, and build reusable prompt libraries to drive digital adoption. Convert PDF operational data into structured Excel datasets, clean supply chain information, and create reporting packs to support KPI development. Map repetitive manual tasks, assess automation opportunities, and develop business cases for process improvements. Interview stakeholders to document collaboration flows, update contact matrices, and create clear process maps. Improve meeting structures, develop AI-supported agenda templates, and standardize collaboration practices across the team. This 24-week full-time internship supports the Global Commercial Supply Chain team at Pharming, a biotechnology company advancing therapies for rare diseases.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Information Management or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation
- Experience with Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, data preparation)
- Comfortable working with large datasets
- Strong communication and interviewing skills
- Ability to document processes clearly and accurately
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or other AI tools
- Basic knowledge of Power BI
- Understanding of supply chain processes
- Experience with process mapping or continuous improvement methodologies
