Job Summary
Develop and test concepts for medical robotics and robot-assisted surgery, evaluating them in both simulation and real setups. Conduct experiments in the robotics laboratory and present research findings in team and department meetings. Collaborate with researchers and engineers at the ZEISS Innovation Hub Karlsruhe to drive technological advancements. This internship offers hands-on research experience with mentorship from PhD-level experts within a modern, international team.
Required Qualifications
- enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in engineering, computer science, robotics, or a related field
- strong engineering background
- basic knowledge in robotics
- programming knowledge in at least one of the following: Python, ROS, C++
- Good communication skills in English and/or German
