Job Summary
Citi Internship Programme in Finance Controllers in Warsaw, Poland. Participants join the Markets Control team to work on individual business projects for 6 months, focusing on daily and monthly P&L reporting, balance sheet reporting across 34 countries, and analysis such as Profit Attribution Analysis (PAA) and MTM for products including FX, bonds, and money market. The role involves reviewing trading activity, supporting control environments, and collaborating with Product Control, Valuation Control, Front Office, and Operations across CEEMEA countries and the UK. Key tasks include P&L and Balance Sheet reporting, data validation, and providing commentary on risk factors and market moves. Requirements include being a third-year student or pursuing a master’s degree in relevant fields, availability to work full-time or part-time (minimum 30 hours weekly), strong English (B2+), and basic MS Excel skills. The program offers exposure to international finance, a buddy system, and potential post-program opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Third year student or higher in Finance/Banking/Accounting/Econometrics/Mathematics/Statistics/Quantitative Methods
- Pursuing master’s degree
- Available to work full-time or part-time (minimum 30 hours weekly)
- Very good command of English (at least B2)
- MS Excel knowledge (basic level)
- Interest in finance and international markets
- Ability to work on multiple projects and communicate across teams
