Job Summary
Conduct field-based clinical services, engage, assess, and assist with developing care plans for families and individuals experiencing homelessness while implementing Housing First, Harm Reduction, and Trauma-informed principles. Perform risk, safety, and biopsychosocial assessments to identify basic needs, maintain communication with external providers, and provide crisis intervention under direct supervision. Drive agency and personal vehicles to transport participants across Service Provider Area 2, adhering to a 9/80 work schedule and completing required documentation. Obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification and pass post-offer Tuberculosis clearances.
Required Qualifications
- Currently in an accredited MSW / MFT program
- Active Board of Behavioral Sciences Intern Number
- Valid California Driver's License
- Auto insurance in good standing
- Obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid Certification
- Ability to pass post offer Tuberculosis (TB) clearances
- Ability to work a 9/80 work schedule, if applicable
- Travel is a regular duty for this position and is required 15% of the time
- Use of a personal vehicle to travel between worksites and other locations is required
- Maintain and execute confidential information according to HIPAA standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Able to perform electronic data entry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work with diverse population
