Internship Program - MSW/MFT Intern - Interim Housing

Job Summary
Conduct field-based clinical services with families, children, and individuals experiencing homelessness in Service Provider Area 2, including outreach, engagement, assessment, and care plan development. Provide crisis intervention under direct supervision, maintain relationships with external agencies, and advocate for participants while completing required documentation. Drive agency and personal vehicles to transport participants across Los Angeles County, adhering to a 9/80 work schedule and part-time hours (16-20). Maintain HIPAA compliance, CPR/First Aid certification, and TB clearances while exploring solutions to current service barriers.
Required Qualifications
- Currently in an accredited MSW / MFT program
- Active Board of Behavioral Sciences Intern Number
- Valid California Driver's License
- Auto insurance in good standing
- Obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid Certification
- Ability to pass post offer Tuberculosis (TB) clearances
- Ability to work a 9/80 work schedule, if applicable
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
