Internship Program 2026 - Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

Job Summary

Gain experience in clinical documentation, diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress/discharge notes while working with a culturally diverse, multi-problem clientele. Participate in case management, counseling services, and team meetings alongside clinical consultation groups. Collaborate with other agencies and systems within a team approach to support clients receiving publicly funded or low-income services. Receive individual clinical supervision from an intern supervisor, including at least one hour of weekly meetings and additional support as needed. Complete a minimum nine-month commitment of 20-24 hours per week with a stable schedule, coordinating time off through your supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently in school program (Bachelor or Master Level)
  • Nine-month to a year minimum commitment
  • Minimum 20-24 hours per week with a stable and reliable schedule
  • School vacations are not considered placement holidays
  • All time off must be pre-approved by the supervisor
