Job Summary
This internship offers fieldwork rotations for Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant students, with a 12-week commitment for OT interns and an 8-week commitment for OTA interns, both requiring 40 hours per week. Students will gain experience through 1:1 supervision by a licensed occupational therapist and participate in both group and individual OT services. Strong clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and adaptive teaching skills are emphasized. Candidates must be enrolled in accredited programs and have a strong understanding of child/adolescent mental health.
Required Qualifications
- Current student of an accredited Occupational Therapy Institution
- OT students must be Master's or Doctoral degree level
- OTA students must be Associates degree level
- Enrolled at an academic Institution with an existing contract with Sheppard Pratt

- Strong foundation in child/adolescent mental health theory
