Job Summary
Join Cadence's Internship Program for 2026, where students gain practical experience in software and hardware design. Interns will support key functions including digital design signoff, customer IC/analog/RF design, system analysis, PCB design, and system verification. Candidates should be currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (BS, MS, or PhD) and possess strong skills in C++, algorithms, and software development/scripting. Experience with analog/RF design and Cadence tools is advantageous. The program emphasizes training, mentorship, and the development of leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as BS, MS, or PhD student majoring in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Digital Humanities & Information Technology or similar
- Team player
- Driven, self-motivated and autonomous
- Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills
- Problem solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Strong C++ skills
- Algorithms and software development/scripting skills
- Understanding of analog/RF/custom IC design and verification practices
- Exposure to Cadence Virtuoso Layout and physical verification tools
