Job Summary
Internship - Multi-modal sensor data collection and analysis: MERL seeks an undergraduate Electrical Engineering student for a summer internship to collect, process, and analyze multi-modal sensor data to support ongoing research. The intern will collaborate with MERL researchers to collect and analyze experimental data, prepare technical reports, and contribute to scientific publications and manuscripts. Desired familiarity with measurement and control systems (oscilloscopes, I/O interfaces, dSPACE platforms) and a solid foundation in signal processing; experience with data acquisition, hardware systems, and programming in MATLAB and/or Python is preferred. Start date is flexible. Offered with relocation stipend, paid travel to/from MERL, monthly commuting card, and health insurance eligibility after 90 days; immigration support provided as needed. Employment is at-will and may include changes to compensation or duties. Location: Cambridge, MA, USA.
