Job Summary
Investment Intern on the DATA4 Investment team focusing on funding, growth, and corporate strategy. Responsibilities include supporting the development and monitoring of debt financing strategy, monitoring capital market conditions and peer activity, assisting in underwriting new investment opportunities (greenfield/brownfield) with market research and financial modelling, preparing and structuring internal presentations, coordinating due diligence with internal teams and external advisers, contributing to valuation exercises under supervision, and assisting with updates to the group’s business plan model. The role offers exposure to corporate strategy and valuation topics within the digital infrastructure sector. The candidate should be curious, rigorous, proactive, and eager to learn in an international environment. Fluency in English is required, with French or another European language a plus. Location is Paris, France with hybrid work options.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree in engineering, finance, economics, management, or a related field.
- Previous internship in finance, investment banking, private equity, infrastructure, real estate, or consulting is a plus.
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities.
- Basic understanding of financial modelling and valuation (DCF, comparables).
- Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a demanding environment.
- Fluency in English; French or another European language is a plus.
