Job Summary
Internship position providing hands-on experience with patient populations under the supervision of a licensed social worker. Responsibilities include reporting to the unit 2 days a week, serving a variety of patient populations, completing psychosocial assessments, communicating with families and treatment team members, assisting with discharge planning, and conducting clinical groups. Students are expected to learn through observation and feedback while demonstrating patience and compassion in a mental health setting.
