Job Summary
KFVS is seeking bilingual interns for a partnership program with Southeast Missouri State University and HETS partner universities in Puerto Rico. Interns will train with digital producers to produce, write, and edit for digital properties, learn camera operation with photojournalists, shadow Multi-Media Journalists for news story production, and translate stories from English to Spanish. This position requires enrollment in a HETS-affiliated school, proficiency in English and Spanish, and offers an intern pay rate between the state minimum wage up to $15 an hour.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Current students in junior or senior year at a HETS partner University
- Enrolled in a HETS-affiliated school
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to live in Cape Girardeau, Missouri for a semester
