Internship - Fresh Produce Supply Chain

Job Summary
Review customer documentation for fresh produce shipments, checking pesticide information, social accreditations, and compliance standards to assess lot eligibility for specific retailers. Follow up with farmers or suppliers when documentation is incomplete or unclear to ensure products meet retailer requirements. Support daily operational and administrative activities by collaborating with colleagues in Rotterdam, gaining hands-on experience in agriculture, retail compliance, and global supply chain processes. Begin with full-time office hours for onboarding and training, transitioning to a hybrid setup of approximately three days per week in the office. This internship provides exposure to the Robinson Fresh division's seasonal project facilitating the sale of Brazilian fresh produce within a global logistics organization.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Driven, highly motivated, and comfortable working with administrative tasks and documentation
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
