Job Summary
Internship: Founder's Associate to Head of People. You will own end-to-end projects in a small, high-trust People & Talent function, work directly with the Head of People, and contribute across recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, compliance, benefits, employer branding, and process improvements. Responsibilities include eliminating manual processes, running ownership of select roles, building scalable HR processes, ensuring compliance across sites, researching/implementing benefits, crafting compelling job ads and career content, and applying judgment to fix gaps. The role emphasizes data-driven, systems-thinking work, autonomous execution, and mentorship from experienced scale-up professionals in a Berlin-based startup environment.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent German (C2) is a hard requirement. Professional-level English
- Structured and precise: nothing falls through the cracks, nothing gets left half-finished
- Works independently and closes the loop without being chased
- Discreet – handle sensitive information
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritise when everything feels urgent
- Some experience in start-up ecosystem and/or people systems is a definitive plus
