Internship – EU Public Affairs – Corporate & Public Affairs Team - Burson

Internship role in Burson's EU Public Affairs team based in Brussels, supporting advocacy and communication strategies for international clients. Responsibilities include researching and monitoring EU policy developments and media conversations, distilling insights to support teams and clients, developing stakeholder mappings, assisting in engagement with policymakers and other stakeholders, and creating content for various channels. The role involves supporting client teams in developing tailored advice, following events for client impact, contributing to client brainstorms, and collaborating closely with a multicultural team. Requirements include a strong interest in media, geopolitics, and EU affairs; understanding of the media and digital communications ecosystem; excellent written and spoken English (other European languages are a plus); strong research, analytical, organizational, and project-management skills; a proactive, resourceful, and team-oriented mindset; familiarity with AI tools; and eligibility for the CIP program to work full-time in Belgium. The internship runs from August 2026 to February 2027 and offers training opportunities in a hybrid office setting in Brussels.
