Job Summary
Internship in Digital Transformation in Controlling at Bosch Japan's Vehicle Motion Division. You will bridge data from SAP, Excel, and Power BI into integrated reporting pipelines, design dashboards used by the business, and create smarter automation using Power BI, Power Automate, or similar tools. You will support the team's digital agenda with AI-assisted use cases like summarization, translation, and structured data collection. Duration 6–12 months with an early start around Sept 2026; you must remain enrolled at a university. Location: Yokohama, Japan, in-person. Required: current university enrollment in a related field; hands-on Power BI and Excel experience; strong problem-solving and independent work skills; interest in automation; good communication; familiarity with AI tools (Copilot/ChatGPT). Preferred: Power Automate, Python, SQL, APIs; experience with data cleaning, SAP data (user-level); international work experience; English fluency (Japanese is a plus). Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Data Science, IT, Business Informatics, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field
- Practical hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, basic DAX, dashboard building) and Excel (Power Query, PivotTables, logical formulas)
- Strong problem-solving mindset: proactive, curious, and able to work independently
- Interest in automation and in understanding how systems and data sources connect
- Good communication skills; reliable and able to work independently
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT
