Job Summary
Conduct market benchmarking, contract and commercial analysis to identify vendor consolidation and saving opportunities, and support medium and large vendor negotiations. Manage sourcing initiatives for vendors with an annual spend below $50K and provide local site procurement support. Collaborate with Facility Managers and Direct Manufacturing departments as primary procurement stakeholders while contributing to supplier classification and taxonomy updates. Identify and implement innovative ideas to enhance Indirect Procurement processes at JBT Marel. This role offers hands-on end-to-end experience in a global procurement environment with mentorship from experienced professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commercial drive
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and PowerBI
