Job Summary
Engage the community in learning about LSSI and behavioral health through grassroots outreach to schools, churches, and food pantries. Execute community outreach plans and attend networking events to promote services while developing marketing materials and curriculum with staff. Provide marketing support to build census and decrease stigma for behavioral health programs across North and Northwest Chicago. Work 12–20 hours weekly during Fall, Spring, or Summer placements, with Saturday availability preferred. Requires a valid driver's license, car use, and insurance coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in human services or marketing fields
- Background check clearance
- Valid driver's license, in good standing for the state of residency
- Use of a car
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Interest in working in community outreach, and/or behavioral health
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing
- Can be organized and is a good planner
- Excellent organization, presentation and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software
- Availability on Saturdays
