Job Summary
Internship in Automated Testing & Surgical Navigation Software. You will support the development of an automated testing framework for surgical navigation software, conduct accuracy tests using novel tracking technologies and robotic systems, design and execute parameter studies to evaluate configuration impacts, and develop and maintain test scripts/tools using Python or C++. You will work on synchronizing multiple systems for reliable data flow and timing, analyze test results to improve system robustness and accuracy, and collaborate with software engineers, robotics experts, and clinical stakeholders in an agile Scrum environment.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- Programming skills in Python or C++
- Experience with software or system testing, ideally in automation or validation environments
- Experience with ROS2 is a plus
- Practical experience with robotic systems and system integration is a strong advantage
- Strong skills in data analysis, including statistical evaluation and visualization
- Good communication skills in English; German is a plus
