Internship – Analysis of Radar Signatures (ADAS)

Job Summary
Conduct radar pre-development work involving literature research on automotive radar systems, investigation of radar cross-section characteristics, and analysis of vehicle motion models. Evaluate range-Doppler signatures for different target classes and develop MATLAB/Python tools for radar data visualization and feature extraction. Compare radar signatures of various objects and analyze detection challenges such as clutter and multipath reflections. Validate results using recorded radar measurement data. This six-month internship begins in September 2026 at AUMOVIO's Lindau location, supported by a team focused on sensor solutions and software-defined vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- Student (m/f/diverse) in the area of Radar ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
- Basic knowledge in Radar and signal processing
- Basic experience in development of IT projects
- Good IT skills and experience in MATLAB and/or Python and C/C++
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Interest in working in an international team
- Quick comprehension
