Job Summary
internship positions in Analog Design and Systems/Modeling. Project aims to investigate circuit and signal-processing techniques for simultaneous bidirectional communication over wideband copper serial links. Responsibilities include reviewing state-of-the-art dual-direction wireline systems, developing behavioral models for wideband channels and transceiver architectures, studying self-interference cancellation in analog/digital domains, evaluating channel impairments, and designing/simulating key building blocks using Python or CAD tools. Expected outcomes include hands-on design and analysis experience, simulation models for bidirectional serial links, assessment of full-duplex operation over copper, and presentation in technical reports and talks; opportunities for conference or journal publication depending on progress. Preferred background includes knowledge of analog integrated circuits, communication systems, signal processing, or high-speed interfaces; proficiency with MATLAB, Python, Cadence or similar tools; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; interest in advanced interconnect technologies; strong teamwork and upbeat attitude.
