Job Summary
Intern in Roche's Lead Discovery cellular assay/automation group in Basel to explore application and automation of thermal denaturation methods in a cellular context. You will collaborate with lab automation and biophysics teams, work with automation systems and cell culture, and contribute to the development of knowledge and skills with opportunities for career growth. The role targets master’s students or recent graduates in biochemistry, biology, biophysics or related life sciences with interest in thermal denaturation methods, automation experience, and independence to generate new ideas. Must be prepared to provide a university-mandated internship certificate if applicable for non-EU/EFTA applicants.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in Master’s programme in biochemistry, biology, biophysics or related life sciences or has obtained degree in the last 12 months
- Background or interest in thermal denaturation methods
- Willingness to work in a lab and explore automation
- Proactive, independent, with confidence and interest in establishing new ideas
- Knowledge in automation and/or cell culture
- Non-EU/EFTA citizens must provide a university certificate confirming internship is mandatory
