Job Summary
Manage a full patient panel of 125–150 daily patients in a busy, 100% outpatient practice, delivering comprehensive care for acute, chronic, and preventive needs. Utilize advanced technology including EPIC EMR, MyChart telemedicine, and DAX Copilot A/I to minimize after-hours charting while focusing on patient interaction. Collaborate with a team of three LPNs, four CMAs, seven PSRs, and an on-site PharmD to support medication management and diabetes education. Join a collegial group of five physicians and one nurse practitioner in the Harbour View area of Suffolk, Virginia. Begin immediately with an established, loyal patient base, supported by a mentorship-driven environment and shared call rotation for light after-hours coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (ABIM/ABMS)
- Completion of a U.S.-based Internal Medicine residency training program
- Must be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S.
- Comfortable managing a patient panel independently
- Committed to high-quality, relationship-based, population health-focused care
- Qualified Candidates must have completed a U.S. Residency Program, and be BE or BC by the ABMS (ABIM, ABFM)
