Job Summary
Internist or Nursing Home Physician needed in Hackensack, NJ to provide comprehensive geriatric medical care to residents as part of a dedicated healthcare team. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and chronic diseases (e.g., hypertension, heart disease, diabetes), prescribing and administering medications and therapies, immunizing patients, maintaining detailed notes and test results, referring to specialists when needed, and supporting long-term care patients with health guidance and care coordination. Flexible scheduling with a base salary in the $190k–$240k range, plus bonuses and benefits; visa sponsorship available and on-call earnings potential. Work either full-time or part-time (minimum of 3 days/week).
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Active NJ State Medical License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
