Job Summary
Provide comprehensive medical care to nursing home residents as an Internist or Nursing Home Physician in Hackensack, NJ. Responsibilities include consulting with patients to understand symptoms and health concerns; diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and chronic diseases (hypertension, heart disease, diabetes); prescribing or administering medications and therapies; explaining procedures and test results; monitoring progress and re-evaluating treatments; offering health and wellness guidance including nutrition and activity; immunizing patients; maintaining detailed medical records; referring to specialists when needed; supporting patients in long-term care; and contributing to research on treatments and procedures. Eligible clinicians include MDs or DOs with active NJ license, Board Certified or Board Eligible, with emphasis on geriatric medicine and electronic health records. Visa sponsorship opportunities are available; flexible scheduling with options for full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days/week); competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, bonuses, and loan repayment. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Active NJ State Medical License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
