Internist / Nursing Home

Consult with patients to understand symptoms and health concerns, then diagnose and treat acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and injuries. Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and specialized care while explaining procedures and discussing test results. Monitor patient conditions and progress, re-evaluate treatments as necessary, and provide health and wellness advice on diet, activity, and disease prevention. Immunize patients against preventable diseases, maintain detailed appointment notes, and refer patients to specialists when needed. Offer support and advice to patients receiving long-term care, prepare official health documents, and conduct research into new treatments or procedures. Requires an active State License and Board Certification/Eligibility. Full-time or Part-time role in Queens, NY with a base salary of $205,000.
