Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive primary care for a diverse, underserved patient population within a federally qualified community health center in the Bronx. Examine patients, analyze diagnostic results to diagnose conditions, and prescribe treatments, medications, or vaccinations as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality while collecting and recording patient histories and examination reports. Refer patients to specialists when necessary and complete progress reports to the CMO. Provide 24-hour on-call service on a rotating weekly basis and attend scheduled monthly and quarterly medical staff meetings. Advise patients on diet, activity, and disease prevention while obtaining admitting privileges to affiliated hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Active State medical license
- Board Certification
