Job Summary
Respond to internet inquiries and coordinate with the sales manager to meet new and used sales quotas and profit margin goals. Demonstrate and test drive vehicles, verify customer qualifications, and conduct pre-delivery inspections and road tests before delivery. Greet customers promptly, determine vehicle needs through active listening, and deliver vehicles while explaining operating features, warranties, and paperwork. Handle customer complaints with empathy and maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business. Operate throughout the dealership, including outdoor and indoor areas, while adhering to all company policies and sales laws.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years sales or customer service experience
- Must enjoy and excel in a team environment
- Must have an upbeat and positive outlook
- Must be dedicated and reliable
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
- Basic knowledge of computers, printers, monitors, etc.
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive sales experience helpful, but not required
