Job Summary
Internet Sales Manager responsible for leading and inspiring a team of Internet Sales Associates, driving the dealership's digital sales strategy, managing lead flow, and maximizing customer engagement. Key duties include directing performance, scheduling and confirming appointments via phone/email, leveraging the CRM (eLead) to develop a robust prospect development system, overseeing owner follow-up to drive repeat/referral business, transferring online leads to the Sales team, and collaborating with Sales Management to provide timely quotes. The role emphasizes leadership with hands-on customer interaction, strategic planning, and alignment with the dealership’s vision, mission, and values. Requires 3+ years in retail automotive and strong CSIs, excellent communication, CRM proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in the retail automotive industry with a proven track record of maintaining high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores
- Experience leading and evaluating performance of Internet Sales Associates
- CRM mastery using eLead or similar CRM system
- Strong customer service, communication (written and oral), and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently or as part of a team
- Proficiency with high call and email volumes
