Job Summary
Prepare, review, and maintain import documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and trade regulations. Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze, validate, and report on import and supply chain data while capturing accurate records for international shipments. Coordinate documentation and shipment information required for timely customs clearance, monitor supplier and freight forwarder performance, and assist in resolving discrepancies within shipping and logistics documentation. Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to support trade compliance initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance data quality and operational efficiency. This fully on-site role in Atlanta, GA, requires a minimum of two years of experience in import operations or logistics with strong analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in import operations, logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, customs compliance, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, International Trade, or a related field
- Experience working with customs documentation, import compliance, or international transportation
- Familiarity with ocean, air, and ground freight operations
- Knowledge of tariff classifications and international trade processes
