Job Summary
Private Banker in J.P. Morgan’s MENAT Private Banking, focusing on prospecting and acquiring Ultra and High Net Worth clients, maintaining and expanding a book of business, coordinating specialists to deliver interdisciplinary wealth management solutions, and driving sales of investment, banking and trust/estate products while ensuring risk management and client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in ultra/high net worth private banking or wealth management
- Strong business development and sales track record
- Ability to prospect, profile and close new business; experience with referrals
- Excellent communication and relationship-management skills
- Understanding of investments, banking, and trust concepts including asset allocation, portfolio reviews, and wealth planning opportunities
- Ability to navigate regulatory and technological changes in the financial services industry
- Arabic language proficiency preferred
- Certificate in Investment Management level 4 (preferred)
Desired Qualifications
- Significant experience working with Ultra and High Net Worth Middle East clients
- Previous, strong business development experience
- Achievement oriented, focused on exceeding business goals with sufficient attention to detail
- Proven sales success including: prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale and asking for referrals
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong relationship management and team building skills
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, banking and trust concepts including, but not limited to: asset allocation on structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions, basic trust and estate products and identification of wealth planning opportunities
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business including regulatory and technological environment
- Arabic speaker
- A certificate in Investment Management level 4
