Job Summary
UHNW Private Banker, Vice President for the Taiwan market, based in Hong Kong. Responsible for supporting and managing all aspects of client relationships across the team, including understanding clients’ wealth objectives and investment requirements. Build and manage a portfolio of clients leveraging JPMorgan’s platforms, coordinate with multiple teams to address inquiries and maintenance, and actively prospect and convert opportunities. Prepare presentations and proposals, take solicitied and unsolicited orders across asset classes, and keep clients updated on markets and portfolio performance. Maintain KYC and client suitability profiles, host client meetings, monitor funds/asset transfers, and handle ad-hoc queries. Collaborate with integrated team members to deliver high-quality client service, track Clients, AUM, and revenues using internal systems, and ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, and due diligence requirements. Proficiency in Business Mandarin is essential for interaction with Taiwan-based clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in wealth management space, along with strong client and stakeholder management skills is required.
- Understand and have working knowledge of the private banking key regulatory and control environments that are relevant to the team and be able to manage the accounts accordingly.
- Proven client management skills and effective communication skills (oral and written) who can positively engage and influence clients as well as internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, and must be a team player and able to work with different business functions across the bank.
- Operate with a high level of integrity and risk awareness.
- As the role is an important contributor to the strategy of JP Morgan, comfort and experience working with and reporting to senior management is required.
- Proficiency in Business Mandarin is essential, as there will be interaction with Chinese speaking clients from Taiwan.
