Job Summary
Private Banker in JP Morgan International Private Bank responsible for advising ultra-high-net-worth families on wealth-building, preservation, and balance-sheet management. Role includes asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, credit and banking needs; collaborates with internal specialists; connects clients across lines of business; adheres to risk and control policies; requires strong English and Mandarin, Series 7/66 licensing (or ability to obtain within 90 days), and international travel. Location: San Francisco, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Eight plus years of experience prospecting, acquiring, and developing private banking/wealth management relationships with ultra-high net worth individuals and families in the Asia Market
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Series 7, 66 licenses required (candidates unlicensed considered but must obtain within 90 days of start)
- Available to travel internationally to serve off-shore international clients
- Strong community presence with an established network
- Experience or understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts
