Job Summary
Investment Specialist in the International Private Bank role focused on helping bankers win new clients and deepen existing relationships through advisement on investment solutions. Responsibilities include conducting investment reviews to validate client objectives, preparing recommendations on investment products, developing investment policy statements and asset allocation guidance, closing sales of complex investment products, and coordinating sales efforts with Capital Advisors, Trust Officers and Wealth Advisors. Requires building strong relationships with internal clients, adhering to securities policies and code of conduct, and guiding junior staff. Required to have a Bachelor’s degree, Series 7 and 66 plus Insurance licenses (with licensing to be obtained within 90 days), fluency in Mandarin and English, and seven+ years in Private Banking or Financial Services; MBA or CFA preferred and experience with hedge funds/private equity/alternative investments; strong sales experience including profiling, objections handling, negotiation, team selling, closing, and referrals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
- Seven plus years of experience in Private Banking or Financial Services
- Demonstrated understanding of wealth management including, but not limited to: credit, deposits, trust and financial planning
