International Payroll, Principal HR Coordinator

Job Summary

Execute daily, time-sensitive payroll operations including new associate entry, termination processing, retroactive payments, and adjustments. Calculate final compensation for departing associates, format financial files for processing systems, and conduct audits to ensure regulatory compliance. Post and reconcile compensation, benefit, and deduction transactions while resolving errors, overpayments, and stop payments. Proactively address internal customer needs by modifying responses to compensation inquiries and collaborating with HR Partners to resolve system issues.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in a financial transaction or operations role
  • At least 2 years experience with Microsoft Office or G Suite
  • This role is expected to accept applications for a minimum of 5 business days

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) and the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll operations and regulatory compliance across multiple markets
  • Understanding of the gross to net calculation, inclusive of pre/post tax deductions and taxable benefits
  • Familiarity with compensation and benefit programs
  • Experience with the Workday HR System
  • Experience with case management systems
  • Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese
  • Working knowledge of International Payroll processing
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to tailor communications to listener needs
  • Working knowledge of ADP Global View application or similar large-scale global payroll processing systems (Streamline, Celergo, etc.)
  • Proven problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to embrace new systems and process enhancements
