Job Summary
Coordinate the day-to-day import and export of international freight shipments into and out of the United Kingdom across air, ocean, and surface modes. Partner with customers to qualify shipping requirements, obtain necessary documentation for quotations, and set schedules while verifying loading, departures, and arrivals. Review orders and documents to ensure all SOP instructions and AIT KPIs are followed, process regulatory compliance, and bill shipments within company guidelines. Network with departments to ensure files are posted prior to month-end and assist in training new team members.
Required Qualifications
- 0 - 2 years applied on the job and industry experience
- Professional level oral & written English language skills
- Customer Focus: knowing the customer business needs and acting accordingly; proactively addresses customer concerns
- Problem Solving: Having the ability to identify problems and issues of varying complexities and find effective solutions, considering multiple sides of an issue
- Attention to Detail: Ensures one's own work are complete and accurate; monitors the quality of work, verifies information
