Job Summary
Write and produce news and feature content for broadcasts, web, and social media. Serve as line producer during programs to manage story timing and order. Conduct interviews, voice material for broadcasts, and perform technical functions including equipment operation. Adapt and translate content between English and the native language, edit taped material, and approve copy prepared by others. Contribute to the creation of radio, TV, and web programs while logging data in the digital asset management system. Meet VOA standards for productivity, quality, and deadlines. Works independently or as a team member, making suggestions on policy and workflow improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in target language (written, spoken)
- Deep knowledge of the target area
- Ability to adapt stories into English
- U.S. citizenship
