Job Summary
Lead the Coutts Middle East market strategy and performance, acting as senior commercial ambassador to grow UHNW/HNW client relationships and drive cross-border referrals. Build a high-performing team, manage risk and regulatory adherence, travel to engage regional ecosystems, and ensure proposition alignment with regional expectations. The role requires senior leadership, deep client networks across intermediaries, and capability to translate strategy into scalable outcomes in a cross-border, relationship-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive senior leadership experience in international private banking or wealth management
- Proven ability to build and scale a market or franchise from an early or under-developed position
- Track record of leading market entry or early-stage growth
- Experience leading relationships with UHNW and HNW Middle Eastern clients
- Strong origination credentials and a consistent record of new client acquisition
- Understanding of GCC business culture, family/ownership structures, succession dynamics, wealth sources, and regional investment behaviours
- Knowledge of cross-border wealth structuring, lending solutions, and regulatory considerations affecting Middle Eastern clients and international wealth
