Job Summary
International Data Acquisition Specialist to source, onboard, and manage third-party data providers across international markets to support identity verification, fraud prevention, and compliance products. Focus on data quality, regulatory compliance, and scalable operations. Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Procurement to align on priorities, support integration planning, and expand geographic coverage (EU, UK, LATAM). Key duties include evaluating/onboarding vendors, preparing RFIs/RFPs, maintaining data documentation, monitoring data quality and provider performance, and contributing to an internationally scalable data acquisition strategy. Requires 4–8 years of relevant experience, knowledge of GDPR frameworks, data integration concepts (APIs, schemas), SQL proficiency, and strong cross-functional communication. Located within 45 miles of London; role offers hybrid work with London presence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field (Business, Data, Analytics, Economics, or related)
- 4–8 years of experience in data acquisition, vendor management, procurement, partnerships, data operations, or related field
- Experience evaluating or managing third-party data providers across multiple markets or jurisdictions
- Strong analytical skills to assess data quality, business value, and operational trade-offs
- Working knowledge of regulatory/privacy frameworks impacting data acquisition (UK GDPR, EU GDPR) and other relevant data protection considerations
- Excellent organisational skills with structured documentation and vendor tracking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
