Job Summary
Vice President, International Consumer Strategy & Partnerships responsible for shaping strategic alliances and pursuing acquisition opportunities with large tech and fintech partners. Lead partnership strategy, evaluate and negotiate end-to-end transactions, develop business cases and deal structures, manage comprehensive due diligence with cross-functional teams, translate technical concepts for business decisions, and maintain ongoing relationships with key partners across consumer financial services. Requires extensive industry experience, background in management consulting/investment banking/private equity, a track record of executed partnerships, and strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. German language proficiency is strongly preferred; location includes Berlin, Germany.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Extensive industry experience
- Experience in management consulting, investment banking, or Private Equity / Venture Capital
- Track record of successfully executed transactions, partnerships and/or strategic alliance development
- Experience working in large cross-functional organizations and leading through influence
- Ability to build strong relationships inside and outside of the firm
- Interest in mentorship and helping others develop their career
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills and project management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in German is strongly preferred
- Industry experience preferably across digital, banking, financial services and/or payments
- Experienced people manager
- Proven track record of running rewards or loyalty partnerships, platforms, or membership programs
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Extensive industry experience
- Management consulting, investment banking, or Private Equity / Venture Capital experience
- A track record of successfully executed transactions, partnerships and/or strategic alliance development
- Proven experience working in large cross-functional organizations, and adept at leading through influence
