Job Summary
International Compliance Manager overseeing North American trade compliance. Manages and drives improvements for US, Canada, and Mexico import/export compliance, directing a team of trade compliance professionals and service providers, including brokers. Supports SAP GTS implementation, training, and maintenance; manages post-entry activities, duty savings and refunds programs (USMCA and other FTAs, Duty Drawback), and KPI attainment. Requires U.S. Customs Broker license, 8+ years in trade compliance (5+ in the field), strong knowledge of U.S. and Canada customs laws, and experience managing teams with travel.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed U.S. Customs Broker required
- 8+ years of experience with 5+ years of experience in Trade Compliance required
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. and Canada Customs laws
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, customer service-based department
- 2+ years of experience managing teams and service providers
- Motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or International related field required
