International Community Engagement Coordinator

Job Summary
International Community Engagement Coordinator responsible for developing, coordinating, and evaluating programming targeted at international student populations, with a focus on Chinese students. Lead organization of both small and large-scale programs and events, maintain relationships with campus partners, and collaborate with the Specialist, International Student Programs, Marketing, and the broader Student Success Office. Responsibilities include literature reviews and environment scanning, data collection and analysis for program improvements, and provision of documentation and communication across terms and annual cycles. Must be fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, and skilled in program development, evaluation, and events within a university setting.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent experience required
- Experience in working with international students, including Chinese student populations
- Program/project management experience with ability to influence and motivate others
- Knowledge of program development targeted at international student populations
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills (written, oral, group)
- Initiative, creativity, flexibility
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and projects
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese; strong bilingual communication
- Experience organizing and executing online and in-person events
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
