Job Summary
Vacuum aircraft carpets and seating areas, wipe and sanitize seats, tray tables, overhead bins, galleys, and lavatories, and remove trash while replacing waste liners. Conduct security searches in accordance with TSA guidelines, inspect interiors for prohibited items, and report concerns to supervisors. Operate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, maintain a professional appearance, and perform additional duties as assigned. Work day and afternoon shifts at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) in a fast-paced environment with physical demands including lifting and working in confined spaces. Pass an FBI background check and read, write, and speak English.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and the ability to follow established procedures
- Ability to perform physically demanding work while maintaining attention to detail

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced airport environment
- Excellent awareness of safety procedures and workplace hazards

- Ability to lift, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, reach, and access all areas of an aircraft cabin
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements throughout an entire shift
- Ability to work in confined spaces and assist with moving equipment or supplies as needed
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
