Job Summary
International Affiliate role in Morocco for Lyra Clinical Associates. Manage a clinical caseload on a flexible, contractual basis, accepting cases referred by Lyra’s global corporate clients and delivering short-term, goal-oriented counseling to employees and their dependents. Maintain autonomy over practice hours and case volumes while leveraging Lyra’s clinical tools, administrative support, and professional training. Provide high-quality, short-term counseling (typically 1–8 sessions per case) for stress, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, or mild-to-moderate anxiety/depression using CBT, SFBT, or ACT within an EAP context. Deliver care in a culturally sensitive manner tailored to Moroccan norms and workplace dynamics; ensure compliance via Lyra’s secure digital platform. Requires Master’s degree in a relevant field, 3+ years post-qualification experience, local licensure, and the ability to practice both in-person and online sessions; must be locally based with high-speed internet for telehealth. Locations include Rabat, Casablanca, Fez, and Tangier with hybrid in-office/online arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology or Clinical Social Work
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience
- Registration with the local governing body as a psychologist, counsellor or clinical social worker
- Experience in short-term therapy or employee assistance programs (EAP)
- Psychoanalytic backgrounds welcome but ability to practice brief, structured interventions
- Tech setup for telehealth with secure space and high-speed internet
- Locally based and legally authorized to practice with both in-person and online sessions
