Job Summary
Integrated senior-level international-affairs role focusing on SME analysis across Europe, Africa, and U.S. AORs for SPACEFOREUR-AF. Responsible for analyzing political systems, economies, defense and security positions, and producing multi-media outputs for general-officer consumption. Manages partner engagements and OAIs, coordinates visits with senior military and civilian entities, and develops playbooks to advance Combatant Command campaign plans. Requires extensive travel, TS/SCI clearance, and a Bachelor’s degree; preferred Master’s degrees and DSCU political-military certifications are listed as additional qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in military or government international affair or political-military planning
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of U.S. foreign policy objectives, international security organizations, treaties or agreements, and security policy
- Ability to travel throughout Europe, Africa, and the U.S. up to 25% of the time
- TS/SCI clearance
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with military-specific planning software, such as C2IE or MAVEN

- Ability to travel throughout Europe, Africa, and the U.S. up to 25% of the time
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Nice If You Have: Experience with IA in the AFRICOM AOR
- Experience working at a Major Command, preferably in the AFRICOM AOR
- Master’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, or Foreign Policy
- Completion of DSCU courses and certifications related to security cooperation and policy
